Congratulations to the Holt Chorale for their selection to the Michigan School Vocal Music Association Choral Hour performances at the Michigan Music Conference in Grand Rapids. They were selected via a blind audition with the MSVMA Selection Committee. This is the third time in nine years that a Holt group has been selected for this pinnacle of achievement for a Michigan school vocal group. Holt Chorale was selected in 2002 and Cantique was chosen for the honor in 2005.
They will present their premier performance on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Grand Ballroom of the Amway Grand Hotel and Conference Center at 10AM. Tickets are required for the event and may be purchased at https://www.michiganmusicconference.org/concertTickets.taf for $10 per person.
The performance repertoire will include: If Music Be The Food of Love-Dickau; Kyrie from “Memorial”-Clausen; Northern Lights-Gjeilo; and John the Revelator-Caldwell and Ivory.
